Take a Walk
Look into your mind and find a route, a path, a destination. How you perceive a street is done so through how you've experienced that street in the past, what events or tragedies have unfolded in the alleyways and on the benches. We use visual landmarks to map our personal cities.
Take a Walk is about following a route and making it yours, rediscovering that lamppost you see everyday that means you're about to turn left onto your street. Using these landmarks, you can remember the path taken. I moved to London having never visited before and over the three years I created my own city. Without the thoughts and experiences of it's inhabitants a city cannot be alive, it is instead dormant, waiting for you to look and see that lamppost.
